An early evening fire damaged a fourplex apartment building located at 154 Meadowland Street in College Station. The building was undergoing renovation and was unoccupied.

Fire crews from the College Station and Bryan fire departments responded.

The majority of fire was in the attic of the building and was knocked down in ten minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal’s office and appears to be accidental and related to the renovation work that was being done.

No injuries were reported.
