We are back on Pump Patrol and as soon as we pulled up to the Wal-mart on Briarcrest, gas was going for $2.75 a gallon, just a few minutes later, it's down to just $2.73 a gallon, the best price in Bryan/College Station.
But other cities across the state are still paying less! You can find gas in Houston for $2.73 a gallon, an hour North in Waco, gas is only $2.49 a gallon. Down in Harlingen gas will cost you $2.29 a gallon and we found that same price just an hour and a half away from town!
At the Wal-mart and HEB in Taylor, you can get gas for $2.29 a gallon!
The most expensive gas price goes to a repeat offender. The Shell across from campus at Ireland Street is selling gas for $3.19 a gallon, the most expensive in the city.
Now if you see an extreme gas price, feel free to email us at pumppatrol@kbtx.com.
