A Leon County resident digging in his pasture got more than he bargained for Friday afternoon.

Authorities say around he accidentally hit an unmarked pipeline causing a leak which resulted in a firey explosion.

The blaze burned about 75 yards of surrounding property before it was brought under control by the Centerville Volunteer Fire Department.

No one was hurt and due to the remote location, no one had to be evacuated.
