It was a Bryan gun fight among gang members that left one person dead. It happened just two days after Christmas, in 2005.

Brazos County investigators now say one of the men involved is behind bars.

Investigators say 25-year-old Raymond Perez Jr. admitted to using his shotgun and firing that night.

The fight happened in the 1200 block of Beck Street near neighboring homes that Bryan Police say were occupied by sureno and latin king gang members

Two people were shot, and 24-year-old Alva Agundiz, who was standing in the yard of one of the homes, was killed.

Perez has been charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

He remains in jail on a $250,000 bond.
