A California company's expansion has a positive effect in Burleson County.

Zodiac Enterprises has chosen Caldwell as it's spin-off site.
There are already 12 people working there, with promises of 60 jobs opening up.

The company is specialized in helping oil refieneries purify fuels. Caldwell was chosen for the expansion site so the company could be closer to Gulf Coast Refineries.

A spokesman for Zodiak says they have received applications from several Alcoa workers who have been laid off.
