CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police have issued an Amber Alert for a
7-year-old after discovering two bodies at a South side home.
A publicist for Jennifer Hudson, the singer and Oscar-winning actress, says the victims are Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and Hudson's brother, Jason Hudson.

Police are searching for 7-year-old Julian King, Hudson's nephew. He may have been abducted and could be accompanied by the suspect, a man named William Balfour. Balfour has not been charged with a crime. He is on parole and spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle.
The tragedy comes as Hudson, who grew up in Chicago, continues to reach new heights in her career. Hudson won an Academy Award for
best supporting actress in 2007 for her role in "Dreamgirls."
