If you live in the Milam County area, Thursday is your chance to get rid of hazardous items lying around your home or farm.

The Milam County Texas AgriLife Extension Service is holding an Ag Clean Up from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Milano Livestock Exchange.

You'll be able to dispose of items like unwanted pesticides, motor oil and filters, car batteries and other automotive fluids. However tires and fertilizers won't be accepted.

The collection is open to all residents.
