A 22-year-old Bryan man was sentenced Wednesday to 58 years in prison for robbing two people at gunpoint.
Emmitt Carroll was found guilty Tuesday of robbing a resident at the Campus View Apartments in College Station in 2007. Carroll then forced the resident to withdraw money from an ATM.
During the punishment phase of the trial, prosecutors connected Carroll to another aggravated robbery in Bryan. A Bryan woman testified that Carroll also robbed her at gunpoint.
Prosecutors say both victims identified Carroll in court.
Carroll is accused of another aggravated robbery, but prosecutors say that case is still pending.
