Local Tow Truck Suit Heads to Federal Court Monday

A Houston federal court will hear both sides in a recently filed suit against the police chiefs in the Twin Cities.

Monday, lawyers for Bryan and College Station and for All American Roadrunners Wrecker Service will appear.

Roadrunners claims Chiefs Ty Morrow and Michael Ikner, along with the cities and Brazos County wouldn't use Roadrunners' services, and are showing preferential treatment to A-1 Towing. That includes alleged favors for law enforcement officials from A-1.

The cities aren't commenting, though last week, Chief Morrow said Roadrunners was not correctly licensed to serve as a tower for them.
