It's the start of another week here in the Brazos Valley and the price at the pump continues to go down.
The new statewide average is at $2.05 a gallon, down from a record setting $3.99 in July.
However, it was last week when gas officially went under $2 a gallon in Bryan/College Station and now it's even cheaper.
The Valero on East 29th, right next door to News 3, has gas for just $1.89 a gallon. That's the cheapest gas in town.
However, you can find gas for $1.95 a gallon at the Wal-Mart on Braircrest, the Kroger on Boonville, and the HEB on Villa Maria.
Bryan isn't the only town with gas at $1.89. We want to thank Mickey Ray who emailed us a picture of the Valero in Hempstead which has gas at the same price.
