A Texas A&M group that's saved countless lives is getting a sizeable donation from a fellow Aggie.

Slovacek Sausage president Tim Rabroker, class of '82, is giving a $25,000 gift to establish an endowment for CARPOOL.

CARPOOL is a student-run, non-profit organization that provides free rides to students who've had too much to drink. It was organized in 1998 by an Aggie student whose own DWI inspired him to create a program to keep other intoxicated students from getting behind the wheel of a car.
