Bryan Woman Convicted of Stealing from Local Non-Profit

A woman convicted of stealing from Junction 505 will have to wait to receive her punishment.

Leslie Ann Riley was found guilty by a judge Tuesday of writing checks to herself from the non-profit organization's bank account. Riley had previously pleaded guilty.

She will receive her sentence at a later date.

Riley was arrested in 2006 when police found she misappropriated almost $200,000 from Junction 505. That organization helps disabled community members get jobs.
