We now know why an 18-wheeler overturned near Franklin spilling gallons of diesel on the roadway.
DPS says the driver was coming out of a curve a little too fast which made his right tire lift off the road Saturday night.
This caused him to veer into a bar ditch and he overcorrected.
The tanker then rolled on its right side and slid upside down before coming to a stop.
The driver only had minor injuries.
A crew from Fort Worth came out to clean up the hazardous materials and the roadway was cleared around 8am Sunday morning.
