CONROE, Texas -- Three pit bulls were confiscated in Montgomery County after an 8-year-old boy was attacked by at least one of them Wednesday.

Montgomery County Sheriff's spokesman Eric Ward says the boy was flown to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries to his legs and arms.

Sheriff's deputies and several Montgomery County Animal Control officers collected the animals after the attack. The case has been forwarded to the district attorney's office.
