Knife Wielding Woman Arrested

An argument that turned potentially deadly lands a College Station woman in jail.

Kia Matthews, 21, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly chasing an acquaintance with a steak knife.

Police were called to the Valley View apartments shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses there told them Matthews was arguing with a man before grabbing the knife and chasing him out the door and around the parking lot. No on was injured.
