The city of College Station's 70th birthday is coming up, and in honor of those who have served the city, College Station is opening a new exhibit.

"Honoring our Mayors", an exhibition of photographs, original documents and memorabilia, opened today at the College Station Conference Center.

The display features the city's twelve mayors from past to present, including the first woman mayor, the mayor serving the shortest term of just 3 months and the longest serving mayor- coming in at 24 years.

The exhibit will be on display through 2009.
