Familiar Face Now Top Cop at Hearne P.D.

A familiar face is now the official top cop at the Hearne Police Department.

Gene Wilganowski, took the reigns at the police department on a temporary basis after the resignation of former police chief Bob Parsley back in June. .

This week the city council voted to keep Wilganowski in the position.

The new chief is a Hearne native, and a retired state trooper. Wilganowski has 20 years of law enforcement already under his belt.
