Officers said he fled from Police, and left an 8-year-old in the car. Now a Bryan 18-year-old is behind bars.
According to Bryan Police, an officer stopped Jose Napoleon Rodriguez at a Bryan gas station, Friday. The officer noticed the car fit the description of a vehicle involved in a recent hit-and-run.
Police said when the officer asked to speak with him, Rodriguez took off running. He was later found under a trailer home.
Another officer who responded to the scene found an 8-year-old girl who had been left in Rodriguez's car. His bond was set at $19,500.
