State Investigates Texas A&M Fire

The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fire that happened Sunday night on the Texas A&M campus.

Investigators are trying to determine what caused the blaze to break out just before 9 p.m.

Fire officials believe it started on the second floor of the Bell Building.

The College Station Fire department had the fire out in about 20 minutes, but not before forcing the closure of University Drive and Wellborn Road.

There were no reports of injuries.
