Can Creations to be Donated to Food Drive

It was an unusual display of artwork in preparation for the KBTX Food for Families Food Drive.

Employees at the Center for Regional Services, along with neighboring bakery Sweet Memories, collected canned goods and then put their construction skills to the test.

The entries included a six-tiered cake and a scene from the Night Before Christmas.

But it was a giant game of Can-D-Land that took home first prize.

The art will be demolished and donated to the food drive on Wednesday.
