Police say he was using his home as a breeding ground for marijuana.
A Bryan man accused of having $5,000 worth of the drugs in his home was behind bars Friday.
Michael Young was arrested by Bryan Police Thursday, after authorities conducted a search warrant in the 2500 block of Manchester. Inside, officers found 11.2 ounces of marijuana, smoking pipes, plant lights, a water filtration system and air filters all believed to be used for growing the drug.
Young is charged with possession of marijuana. His bond is set at $5,000.
Authorities say it's a State Jail Felony and is punishable by confinement for a term of 180 days to two years in a state jail; and an optional fine not to exceed $10,000.
