Bryan Restaurant Closes Due to Faulty Fire Protection

Updated: Wed 10:21 AM, Jan 07, 2009

A Bryan Mexican food restaurant is back open after being shut down for nine days.

Las Lomas' permit was suspended December 22 after its fire suppressant system went off in the kitchen, health inspectors said.

The restaurant, located in the 4500 block of South Texas Avenue, had to throw out all the food affected by the discharged nozzles, and make repairs to a back door, officials said. IIt reopened December 31.
