Brazos County Republicans have a new leader. The party elected Paul Rieger Thursday night to take over for outgoing chairman David Kent.

Rieger is a local business owner and Aggie graduate. He's a GOP precinct chair and has done extensive campaign work for the party across the state and here in the Brazos Valley. Rieger has also attended the past five Republican State Conventions, either as a delegate or alternate.
