For one Brazos County attorney and his family, attending next week's inauguration is a dream come true.

Patrick Gendron and his wife Alma were Barack Obama delegates at the State Democratic Convention this year. He says while working on the Obama campaign, he was impressed at how the candidate brought people together. Now he looks forward to sharing this special time with some of them.

"This is a celebration of all the hard work," said Gendron. "It's the culmination of all the hard work with everybody in this county and other counties and other states that worked on the campaign."

As an added bonus, Gendron's brother-in-law, who's with the Brazos County Sheriff's Office, will also be at the inauguration as part of the security detail.
