It was a rude awaking for a Bryan couple Tuesday morning when a truck crashed into their house, the driver then backed out and fled the scene.

It all happened around 3:00 this morning on East William Joel Bryan. That's when Vance Beaudreau says he heard a huge explosion. When he went to find out what happened, he saw the driver of the truck pulling out of his living room and speeding off. Beaudreau says he didn't get a good look at the vehicle thanks to a billow of dust from the crash but when officers began investigating, they found the vehicle's licenses plate among the rubble of the house.

Neither Vance nor his wife Fay were injured in the crash.
