As of Sunday, cigarette smoke in College Station bars and restaurants is a thing of the past.

New smoking laws went into effect Sunday morning.

College Station Police were asked to enforce the ban, but say they received no calls reporting violators.

The new rules maintain smokers must be 20 feet from a business's front door, and 10 feet from a back or side door, before lighting up.
