If you have teen drivers in your family, tell them to be extra careful this month. According to a report by Allstate Insurance, February is the deadliest month for teenaged drivers in Bryan-College Station.
It found close to 14 percent of yearly fatal accidents for Twin Cities teens take place in the month of February. While the report did not specify a reason for the February fluctuation, it did find that the number one factor in those wrecks was speeding, followed closely by failure to wear seat belts.
The six-year study used figures from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration in conjunction with Allstate's own crash data.
