Texas A&M will again observe one of its most somber and sacred traditions Tuesday night. Silver Taps will be held to honor three Aggies who have died since the fall semester's final observance.

The three are Charles "Chase" Bergfeld Junior, a junior from Conroe who died in December after a boating accident. Suhyung Park, a grad student from College Station who died in November, and Abid Umatiya, a junior from Sugar Land who also died in November.

Silver Taps is held on the first Tuesday of each month when classes are in session. In the darkness, students, family members and friends silently gather in the plaza in front of the Academic Building for a 21-rifle volley and the playing of Taps.
