Hearne fire investigators are trying to figure out who torched a city park a couple of blocks from the town's schools.
Wednesday morning around eleven, a fire at Bob Jones Park was reported and when crews arrived on the scene, they found a gazebo engulfed in flames along with some of the playground equipment.
Investigators say no one was injured and that the fire caused between $50,000 and $60,000 worth of damage to the park.
If anyone has information as to how the fire may have started, you can call Hearne Police at 979-279-5333.
