A College Station woman, who's giving her husband a new chance at life, will now have to wait for surgery.
Mindy Sledge was expected to go into surgery tomorrow morning to donate her kidney to her husband Chris who has a history of kidney problems. However, doctors decided to push the surgery back, after some routine tests showed a low antibody count in Chris.
The surgery has been rescheduled for next week.
The Brazos Valley raised more than $7,000 for the Sledge's in January, to help offset some of their costs while the couple is hospitalized.
