Leon County authorities are searching for a fugitive, who is possibly armed, and believed to be in the Centerville area.
Sheriff investigators say James Lee Phillips could be driving a white, 2005 Dodge 1500 pickup, license plate 55P-RB2.
They say Phillips threatened to kill his girlfriend Sunday night at a home on FM 1119. They say he then forced another resident at gunpoint to drive him to Centerville. At some point, deputies say Phillips jumped from the vehicle and disappeared in a wooded are on foot.
He is wanted for Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Kidnapping and Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle. Any information on Phillips location should be given to the Leon County Sheriff's Office, (903) 536-2749.
