A Somerville school board member and reserve police officer accused of kidnapping will have to wait another week to learn his trial date.

Arvis Hutson's pre-trial hearing was set for Friday, but had to be postponed until February 27 due to a scheduling conflict with his attorney.

Hutson has been indicted on two counts of aggravated kidnapping. Court documents allege while he was working as a Somerville police officer, he stopped two women on separate occasions, put them in his patrol car, and touched them inappropriately.

He's since been placed on administrative suspension with the police department, but is still a member of the Somerville school board.
