A Brenham school official has been cleared of accusations that he spanked a child too hard. After examining the evidence, a Washington County grand jury "no billed" the accused.

While the parents had consented to the use of corporal punishment, they complained that too much force was used in spanking their four-year old.

The school district did its own investigation and determined that was not the case. The matter was then referred it to a grand jury which determined no crime was committed.
