An Amber Alert for a 15-year-old girl who Rosenberg police say was abducted has been canceled after the girl returned home safe.
Rosenberg police issued the alert early Wednesday for Patricia
Acevedo, saying that she had been abducted by a 24-year-old man and
was last seen in Rosenberg.
Law enforcement officials said the girl was in grave danger.
Rosenberg police disclosed later Wednesday that Acevedo had left
Foster High School in Rosenberg with the man willingly. But they also said the girl had called her family and told them the man wouldn't let her go home.
Police are still investigating.
Rosenberg is located 20 miles south of Houston.
