Highway 6 Accident Sends One Driver to the Hospital

38-year-old John Wikander was rushed to the hospital after he flipped his car several times on Highway 6.

Around 9:00 pm Monday night, College Station police say Wikander somehow lost control of the car causing it to flip several times before he was thrown from the vehicle.

The car came to a rest near Highway 30.

Witnesses say the car was upside down wedged between trees.

College Station police tell News 3 Wikander was rushed to the College Station Medical Center and underwent surgery.

At last check Wikander was said to be in stable condition.
