North Zulch Teen Dies on Wet Madison County Road

While most seem to be happy with the rainfall we've gotten, it has caused some slick roads, including one where a North Zulch teen lost his life.

Jesse Liddell was killed Thursday evening. DPS believes the 19-year-old was going too fast on a wet FM 1452 curve west of Highway 39 when his truck left the road and hit a tree.

Liddell crashed at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday. He was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m. at the scene.

DPS reports state Liddell was not wearing a seat belt.
