He was wanted on seven warrants in Brazos County, and three warrants in College Station. Friday night, an alert caller helped police spot him on the campus of Texas A&M University.
43-year-old William Hosey, of College Station, is charged with theft, criminal trespass, and possession of a criminal instrument.
University police say a Friday night caller reported seeing a man take a bike from an apartment complex off-campus, and ride it on campus.
Police said the caller followed Hosey as he went in and out of bike racks.
UPD said the bike Hosey was riding was stolen, but they were able to return it to the owner because it was engraved with a universal identification number.
Hosey is in jail on a $9174.50 bond.
