A 21-year-old Texas A&M student from Katy has been found dead in Panama City Beach, Florida.

According to WJHG, News 3's sister station near Panama City Beach, authorities in Florida say a body has been found in a ditch next to a condominium.

Officials say the man's name is Justin Richard Delval. Texas A&M officials confirm Delval was a current Aggie student.

An A&M spokesman says Delval was a sophomore general studies major.

Authorities are not ruling out a homicide as of yet, but they do not believe they are dealing with a homicide case. Delval's body does have small wounds, scratches and bruises on it, officials say.

They also do not believe foul play was involved and it does not appear as if Delval fell off a balcony. They are saying the death could be alcohol related.

After speaking with some of the man's friends, they confirmed Delval had been drinking Tuesday night. He was visiting Panama City beach on spring break.

The medical examiner will do a formal autopsy to determine the cause of death.
