A popular College Station restaurant reopened Friday after a hot water issue forced a two day closure.

Inspectors re-inspected Freebirds World Burrito in the 700 block of Earl Rudder Freeway Friday morning and said the problem had been fixed.

The burrito business was shut down Wednesday by the Brazos County Health Department. Inspectors were there for a routine inspection, when they discovered the restaurant had no hot water.

Freebirds also had to pay a $500 fine.
