Reed Arena was bustling with crews and heavy equipment Wednesday afternoon, as countless workers began constructing the set for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus.
The crews spent approximately six hours piecing together the various portions of the stage, including the five-ton circular steel cage in which three motorcycles circle around at speeds of 60 miles per hour.
The first show is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 9, with other shows on Friday April 10 at 7 p.m. and Saturday April 11 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets range in price from $11 up to $50.
