The City of Bryan’s Water Services Department has been honored with two Watermark awards from the Texas chapter of American Water Works Association.
The awards recognized the Water Service Department’s education outreach campaign, which included a creative public service commercial on the department’s “fats, oils and grease program” and construction of a creative logo for the grease prevention program.
The Watermark Award recognizes Texas Section AWWA members who have produced top quality programs in public outreach. These awards are designed to heighten awareness among all water resource professionals about the importance of community outreach and public education.
The awards will be presented at a conference in Galveston next week.
