Hours after College Station Police began investigating a 27-year-old Hispanic man being shot at off Raymond Stotzer Parkway, an arrest has been made.

The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Saturday evening at Equestrian Park in the 5200 block of Stotzer. The victim was been transported to the College Station Medical Center with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Around 5 a.m. Sunday, CSPD reports Margarito Bustos, 45 of Bryan, was arrested on Cavitt Street in that city. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony. Bond was set at $100,000.

Authorities say the shooting occurred after an argument broke out at a barbeque being held at the park.

At this time, the victim's name is not being released.
