At the beginning of March, parts of the Brazos Valley were suffering from one of the worst droughts on record. Some folks in Burleson County grabbed their umbrellas and headed to the courthouse to pray for rain.
Sunday, they were back again, this time to say "Thank You."
Since their community prayer, places in Burleson County have received at least 6" of rain.
Folks said it had been quite an emotional change.
"When it rained, I cried. The reason that I cried was because of the faith involved, and God giving us the rain," said Donna Sigler.
Around 75 people joined hands at the courthouse Sunday afternoon.
