More than a week after a pickup plunged in the Brazos River, the first victim recovered has been identified.
Washington County Sheriff's officials say the body discovered April 21 is that of Antonio Fragosa Ramirez, 22, of Mexico.
It took a while for authorities to positively identify him because Ramirez was carrying a fake ID, officials said.
The body of Jorge Graciano, 21, was discovered Friday about three miles from the initial accident site.
Officials say the two victims, along with two Navasota men took a truck from a private ranch on FM 1370, and drove it off a bank into the Brazos River.
Luis Loredo, 29, and Juan Carlos Esneider, 22, survived the 25 foot drop and have been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. They are in the Washington County Jail with other charges pending, officials said.
