Running a successful restaurant is a hard thing to do in a soft economy. Add employees stealing from you and the odds for success are even worse.
That appears to be the reason behind Pyros Mongolian Fusion Grill's closing on Texas Avenue in Bryan.
Back in November, the owner of the restaurant told News 3 that General Manager Amy Harmon had been arrested for stealing more than $30- thousand from the business. The owner said at the time that amount would be almost impossible to recover from. Pyros closed its doors for business this weekend.
As for Amy Harmon, she plead guilty for stealing from the business and in February was given 5 years probation, ordered to pay restitution and ordered to attend drug treatment. According to court records Harmon has already paid back $20-thousand dollars.
