Candidates Come to BVTM: Buddy Winn

Buddy Winn is seeking the Republican nomination for the 14th District of the Texas House of Representatives. Thursday morning, he talked about his campaign for this March primary on the only local morning television newscast.

Winn was the latest of 15 candidates who will appear throughout February on Brazos Valley This Morning. His opponents for the Republican nomination are the incumbent Fred Brown, Blanche Brick and Rick Davis. Brown and Brick appeared earlier in the week. Davis will be on the show Friday.

There are no Democrats running for this office.

Winn discussed his motivations for running, what his top priorities would be if elected, his time as Brazos County's tax assessor collector, and his take on budget and transportation issues in the state.
