Key political primaries will be decided Tuesday as voters head to the polls once again.
The ballots started being cast at 7 a.m. for the runoffs, and the polls will remain open until 7 p.m.
According to the Brazos County clerk's office, turnout was a bit slow to start the day, but officials also want to emphasize that you can still vote in a runoff even if you didn't vote in a March primary.
There was an issue at Aldersgate Methodist Church in College Station Tuesday morning, which acts as Precinct 40. According to county officials, six voters were mistakenly turned away by election workers because they had not voted in the primary. If you were one of those voters, you're asked to head back there and vote.

News 3 will cover all the primaries in the region. Among them:
- The challenger to Chet Edwards will be determined, as Republicans Rob Curnock and Bill Flores learn who is the GOP nominee for Texas' 17th District in the US House.
- The District 14 seat in the Texas House of Representatives will also be decided. Incumbent Fred Brown and Buddy Winn are in a runoff to determine the Republican nominee, but with no other candidates running for the office, one of these two men will be sent by the voters to Austin.
- With no incumbent in the race for Brazos County judge, there will be a new nominee for the Republicans for the first time in years. Bryan Mayor Mark Conlee and Brazos County Commissioner Duane Peters are in the runoff to see who replaces outgoing judge Randy Sims as the GOP nominee. The winner faces independent Doug O'Brien in November.
