Early voting begins Monday for city and school board elections in the area. That includes four races for the Bryan City Council, as well as mayoral races in both the Twin Cities.

Election Day is Saturday, May 8, but early voting will run until Tuesday, May 4.

In Bryan, the lone polling place early is at the municipal building on Texas Avenue. It will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. this Monday through Friday. Saturday, you can vote from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Next Monday and Tuesday, polls will be open one last time from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Bryan city officials are also noting that there is just one contested school board race, that being in Single Member District 3. Non-Bryan residents who are a part of that single member district for BISD can cast a vote in that race, but those non-residents who belong to the other single member districts for BISD have nothing on the ballot and do not need to go to the polls.

Voters in Kurten who are deciding whether there should be a one-cent tax rate will vote early in Bryan, as that city is running their election. On May 8, Kurten voters can go to Kurten Zion Church and the Reliance Community Center.

In College Station, voters can cast ballots at city hall on Texas Avenue or at the CSISD administration building on Welsh from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. this Monday through Friday. The polls will not be open this weekend, but will be available from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. next Monday and Tuesday.
