Around 6 p.m. on Friday night police say they received an anonymous call from the Huntsville Memorial Hospital about a terroristic threat mentioning Sam Houston State University.

Milton Emerson, a senior at the university is concerned about his safety.

"It makes me a little uneasy about how crazy the world is getting now days. You would think that school would be the safest place you can be away from everything, but here lately with everything that's going on like the Sandy Hook and stuff like that even happened at Lone Star North Harris, it just makes you worried about your own safety on a college campus," said Emerson.

Police say they will release a statement later, but both Huntsville and SHSU police have determined through their investigations that there is no current threat.

Police say as in any situation, please report anything suspicious to UPD. Although this incident is still under investigation and a statement will is expected to be released from the police.
