Highway 6 is now clear after a series of accidents this morning.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area of northbound Highway 6 between University and Briarcrest. Officers are working an accident in that area and high traffic has caused an additional 4-5 accidents on that stretch of roadway. Please avoid the area or use extreme caution and expect delays.
An accident on Highway 6 in Bryan has slowed traffic in the northbound lanes.
News 3 has a crew on the scene of the wreck that happened south of the Boonville exit before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
A Chevrolet truck is involved, but it's unknown if there are any injuries.
At this time, one northbound lane is blocked, but the other one is slowly moving.
Motorist traveling in the area can expect delays. Updates will be posted on kbtx.com as they become available.
